what to do when the landlord doesn't pay for pest control?

My landlord is refusing to pay for the extermination of bed bugs, when I bought brand new furniture so I know the only place they couldn’t came from was the apartment. The manager said that he hasn’t heard of another apartment having these problems so its my fault. In the contract it states pest control, but they say pests are just considered spiders and ants, any advice what to do next?

When I first moved into my apartment complex in October of last year, we were getting monthly pest control from our apt complex but by a third party like Orkin or something. Not sure who it was. Then, and without anything in writing, they stopped providing it. Now if we want pest control, they come over with a spray can like you can get at Walmart and spray the apartment. Can they do this?!

blacker & decker electronic pest repeller-mice and roaches help!!?

k i have mice and roaches there is something called black and decker electronic pest repeller that you plug into the wall and it is suppose to rid of mice and roaches by producing this high in frequency sound. but its not working . they walk on top of and around that thing like it aint even there!! besides the regular mice poison and and mouse traps what else is good? its soo gross

the other day im coming into my apartment and when opening the door i roach falls on my head and slides down in between my glasses and unto the floor! the following morning a fucking mice runs across my back when im sleeping!! i am terrified of theses stuff i cant even kill them
please help i can’t eat in this house because i feel soo gross out like i dont know if it has been touched by a mouse or a roach. everywhere i turn there is mouse droppings and that makes it hard to eat too!! i am clean but nothing is working!! i do not live alone i live with 2 siblings and my mother.

What do they usually do during pest control in an apartment building?

My building has pest control schedules, I was told the company will come next week and they want access to the bathroom, closets and kitchen. What do they do when they pest control the apartment? do I need to empty my closets?, I have a cat, a betta and a few indoor plants mostly cooking spices like chives, rosemary, etc, I am wondering if it is safe for my pets and if they will give me trouble because I have plants inside, any advice?
